Privacy Policy

This policy covers the IntervYou website (intervyou.io) and the IntervYou apps for iOS and Android. IntervYou is a practice tool: you rehearse job interviews with an AI panel and get feedback.
What we collect
- Account: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name.
- Jobs you practise for: the job links or job descriptions you paste, and the role details and interview questions we generate from them.
- Interviews: the transcript of each practice interview (your answers and the panel's questions) and the feedback report we generate.
- Voice: when you answer out loud, your audio is sent to a speech-to-text provider to be transcribed. We keep the text transcript, not the audio recording.
- Résumé (optional): if you upload one, the text extracted from it and a short summary, used to tailor questions.
- Usage and diagnostics: on the website, product analytics and error reports. The mobile apps do not include analytics or advertising SDKs.
How we use it
Only to run the service: build your interview panel, conduct the interview, score it, show you your history, and keep the service secure and working. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase — sign-in and account management
- Vercel and Upstash — hosting and data storage
- Anthropic and OpenAI — generating interview questions, panel replies and feedback
- ElevenLabs, OpenAI and Deepgram — speech-to-text and the panel's voices
- PostHog, Google Analytics and Sentry — website analytics and error reporting
These providers process data only to provide their service to us.
How long we keep it
Until you delete your account. You can delete your résumé on its own at any time from your dashboard.
Deleting your account
In the app, open the dashboard menu and choose Delete account. This permanently removes your account, interviews, reports, roles and résumé straight away. If you can't use the app, email support@intervyou.io from your account's email address and we will delete it for you.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it, or to delete it, by emailing support@intervyou.io. IntervYou is not intended for children under 16.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page.
